Simon, apologies for the late reply I am back in Croatia doing comp crew and Day Skipper with my wife, I did alot of research for the boats I was looking at in Italy and there seemed to be alot there between 10-20k, This was the first boat I looked at in Croatia and its in pristine condition, I low balled 20k and they accepted, but, I think he had to sell, I had cash in hand and he just walked off the boat with car keys in hand in tears, I felt sorry for him but I think it is definatly a buyers market, dont list to the brokers they just want the bucks, also try and hang onto the marina for at least a yesr because they are expensive and good places are hard to find.... hope this helps Dave
Hi Dave congratulations on benny. Just a quick question as we have booked our flights to Croatia 12 oct 2018 to buy our next boat. Looking at Bavaria 44 to 50s. In the €90k price range. Do you know what the wiggle room may be.? I have heard that their asking prices are quite high for the final sale price. Just trying to arm myself for a different market.
All tbe best
