I think the model bow thruster was a Aquafax BT55 and no I didn't install it myself.
It is quite a tight fit and you wouldn't want to get it wrong. It cost about £3k fully fitted.
I was happy with the results. It made docking a lot more relaxing!
The other advantage is that it keeps the weight down which a lot of HT's struggle with. I don't know of any for sale. Good luck with your plans

I want to be able to single hand her in and out of a marina, as I am not young or very agile I am interested that you added a bow thruster to your HT. What make and model did you buy?. Did you install it yourself? If yes was this difficult?. Were you happy with the results?. If you know of one for sale with a bow thruster please let me know.
