I just purchased a Privilege 39 (You Tube "Allie Cat Catamaran") which was in the process of an update from the prior owner. It had 4 staterooms, each with it's own head, sink and shower. Not loaded it draws 3'6" or 4' loaded. As the german over stayed his visa they wouldn't let him back into the country. His boat had all doors, hinges, drawers removed (stacked neatly in two staterooms) new wiring but not hooked up (both 12 volt and 120 ac). Engines wouldn't start but he hadn't hadn't completed the wiring. I purchased the boat for about 1/3 of the cost most 1992's are going for.
So.....take your time, forget the asking price, check out the boat that will best serve your family and make an offer you can afford. Go aboard as many boats as you can and ask someone in this forum questions about the ones you like. It only takes one yes to get the boat you want. Huey2
