Hi - our very dear friends on Mudskipper are based in Sydney (though I think they're in Tassie right now on a short cruise). They've been all the way round and are really really knowledgeable. You may have already come across them, or seen them. Mudskipper is a steel two-masted junk (actually an adaptation of a lugger but it looks v like a junk when the sails are up) they built themselves, and Pete and Ruth have lived on board for about 17 years.

Hi - just realised you're two women cruising too. So few of us, we (Sarah really) had to stop by and say hello. We're just pootling around the Med, and are snow birds because we earn moeny in the UK in the winter. Based in Ipswich at the mo. Are you back here or out in Oz?
