thank you so much for your response.
I not familiar the "TAP procedures" wording, can you send a link to this procedures.
Reading your respond I grasp that as long as I keep the temporary admission rules I can stay longer than 90 days within 180 period, or even up to 18 months.
    Thanks,
    Daniel

    apologies for not replying sooner

No you are fully entitled to the TAP procedure , since you carry a EU passport , carry some information that establishes you Israeli tax position . IN reality you will rarely be challenged

    Hi goboatingnow,
I have purchased a 42 foot yacht in France and expect receiving it within the coming months.
I am an Israeli citizen and resident who pay tax in Israel AND hold Portuguese citizenship/passport without any whatsoever business or assets in the EU (been only once in Portugal for a week vacation).
My goal is to sail within the EU waters for pleasure only under Temporary Admission rules.

Should I expect getting a demand for VAT on my arrival to an EU country (because I hold Portugal passport?) even though I am an Israeli tax resident.

Thanks in advance for your replay,
    Daniel
