I know you only have room for a handful of crew, but I'd love to be considered! I'm clean, I can contribute to any expenses needed, and can cook a decent meal. Please let me know if you have any questions at all for me, I'd be happy to have a conversation. Thanks again, I hope to hear from you soon. Best of luck and take care!

I've spent my entire life in the water as a surfer, and have lived in Santa Barbara and Hawaii for most of my life. I currently reside in Los Angeles where I co-own/operate a handful of popular smoothie/açai bowl restaurants (Backyard Bowls). Now, with a newly hired General Manager to take care of the day-to-day operations of the restaurants, I've decided to focus the majority of my time fulfilling my life dream of becoming a competent sailor and at some point purchasing a boat of my own.

I've spent quite a bit of time in Baja, driving the length of peninsula camping, fishing, and surfing. I've done the drive from California to Cabo, and also fly down somewhat regularly to get away for a long weekend (Todos Santos is a favorite of mine). I love the people, the ocean, and everything else about long stretch of coastline.

    Hi Candy,

I wanted to respond to your request for crew for the Baja HA-HA! I many not be the ideal candidate you seek, but I figured I'd reach out anyways!

I am a 36 year old male who recently got into sailing just over a year ago, and have taken several courses through OCC school of sailing out of Newport. I've taken 6 or so courses and get my Bareboat cert next week (after that ASA 103/104). In July, I'll be taking a 7 day Cat course from West Coast Multihulls which will cover ASA 103,104,114! (I'm really excited). A friend of mine has a Catalina boat as well, which I've had the pleasure of taking several trips out to the Channel Islands with him learning something new each and every time.

(lol, as you can see, I've very new to this forum and am still figuring how long my message can be)
