I can only give you specific comments, not specific to that model. The Gibsea was designed for Dufour to compete with B/C/H and as such was a step or so down in quality from the Dufours. But they sail well and I am sure that you will enjoy yours.

I'm purchasing a Gibsea 262 on Lake Huron on Saturday. It is titled 1989 but is probably a 1990. This one is completely decked out and appears to be in very good condition.

I saw that you were a broker for Gibsea a few years ago. Any thoughts on the 262? It seems very rare. This particular boat might have been a boat show boat when they were first introduced to this country.

Any insights would be greatly appreciated.
