I respectfully disagree in respect to removing 2 stroke motors from comparisons.
1. I can pop down to any marine shop this morning and buy NEW motors from a wide range of 2 stroke outboards right up to 300hp; no they're not illegal in many many countries. Alternatively I can buy/import them legitimately on Alibaba, and yes even US based EBay or Amazon.

2. CruiserForum is an international forum not a US forum.

This isn't to suggest that these little motors aren't contributing very negatively to the environment.

Also I do appreciate your posts and you make some great points about all manner of issues.
