    Hi Scott

We were very happy with our time at TMM. They are flexible and accommodating to owners who want to spend quite a bit of time on their boats. Not all companies are! It sounds as though you are planning to use your boat during peak season so that will of course limit the revenue you are likely to receive quite substantially.

One slightly negative comment... You do need to keep an eye on the monthly account statements. I did find I was quite often being billed for things that charterers had lost or broken. These should of courses be paid for by the charterers but all charter companies tend to bill owners rather than risk upsetting charterers. Just something to be aware of.

One final point... It is now quite some time since we were with TMM and several of the long-term employees have now moved on or retired so things may not be quite the same as they were back in our day.

Hi Mike, I typed in a question asking if anyone has had any experience keeping their boat with TMM and I saw your message from last year. I'd love to hear your thoughts on working with them. I plan on buying a Leopard powercat 47 from Moorings and then my idea was to sign on with TMM to manage it. I want to spend 2 or 3 months in the winter on board then let TMM do their management the other 9 months. Any advice or stories about doing this would be very helpful.

    Thanks, Scott
