Thanks for the kind words. Do you remember the name of the H38? i'm sure that i will find one that suits me eventually. A couple of guys on my website want me to buy Farfalla, but i want a diesel and don't want exterior wood, especially teak decks, altho they certainly are pretty.

    Hi Jon,

Thank for nice and encouraging message I'd like to start with good news..... We're in the process of buying a well equipped Gulfstar 43 CC (Real sailboat one... Not the MS) Looks like Our total cost (after emergency upgrades etc) will be around 35K (usd) Hoping to get her surveyed and finalize the deal in a month.

I've found that H38 on craigslist. Owner had to sell her due to health reasons.... She had solid hull and deck, good diesel, wiring, plumbing seemed to be upgraded. When I contacted the seller and had the news that she's been sold only a day before I called.

I believe the secret is patience and persistence...... In total, I've spent 14 months to find the right and budget friendly boat. I've had a few near misses like a fully equipped - theoretically ready to go- Corbin 38 for $30K.... Did not give up and I feel like we're getting close to launch our own website nomorelandlubbing dot com

    Cheers,

    Tafa

Sorry about the sarcastic replies. People have spent tooooo much money on their boats, they KNOW they have lost money, so they want you as a member of their (pity) party. They want you in the same boat ;-) By the way, have you seen my website? www dot hughes 38 dot com i would love to hear about the H38 that you missed by one day for only 11K
