Just noticed your post. The Morgan 41 is one of the strongest
built boats I believe. Not clumsy but does not do so well to windward. I have not had her over 45 K winds but at that she handled herself very well and took the swells in her stride taking very little water over her bow. She has a solid fiberlass hull with no foam and is many times more stronger then the foam core ones today and more flexible. The mogan I have has a history of over 90,000 miles blue water sailing and is still in great shape. Google Boisye Day the original owner and you will get lots of info. Good Luck.
