Hey Muckle, I meet the couple in SXM, they are from Venezuela or Argentina if I remember well, they sail a Amel Super Maramu 50 and they still using those Lewmar electric winches in the cockpit, the husband is the skipper and Lola , that's the name , have a prosthesis in the left arm if I remember well, i make a offert to this guys to replace the Lewmars for Harken , but because they are with lawyers against Lewmar and Amel they refuse the offert, the funy thing is after the incident they replace the whole set of electric winches and after a year the same crap happen again, the starboard cockpit winche turn alone without assistance from the swicht, they stop at Martinique and make a hard claim again to Lewmar and Amel, from there i don't know what happen finally with all this issue, i know they are still cruising and the Woman after all the trauma and drama is still sailing and enjoy the life from a diferent perspective....
