Well I am the new owner of a columbia defender hull #60 here are a couple pictures before any work.

Got a Volvo md2b that is in great condition for a Benjamin yesterday.

Are you going to rebuild it over the winter?

Nope just cleaning and repainting it then install . the compression was 320 and 317 in Cylinders and factory specs are 285 to 340 psi. Starts easy cold so I'm confident in it . just doing the usual spring stuff oil and all filters and new impeller. Got really lucky with this score.

After the workout my friend had with the water flow through his MD7A I'd ask, how is the cooling flow through it from start to finish? CLR has been keeping his in the green so far after all the surgery!

Surprisingly good cooling water flow and the mixing elbow appears to have been replaced within the last 5 or so years . The exhaust manifold even looks good on the inside. I plan on a tee in the cooling water intake with a valve to allow useing a bucket of fresh water to easily flush the motor.

You definitely must be living right!
