Manta Catamarans

Manta catamarans are one of the few US built cats. The first hulls were 38’, followed by 40’s and finally 42’s. The interior layout is similar for all 3 lengths with the transom being lengthened over time. Extremely well built, and focused on sailing couples, each owners version cat was semi-customized to the owners desires and new innovations added over time. The 127 sailing hulls were built from 1996-2008. There were also 11 power cats built. Mantas continue to have a special following with a close knit owners group, and many long term friendships developed that sometimes even outlast boat ownership. This forum will allow public questions and interchange on Mantas as the Manta Owners Website is for owners only.

MARINE TRADER TRAWLERS

After 70+ years of wonderful sailing, I'm not considering switching to a trawler. And, I'm considering a like-new 2009 Marine Trader trawler (36/40 feet), only a few of which were manufactured after the Great Recession. Does anyone have any idea of what these trawlers sold for a new? Or, where I might look to find this kind of info? I've Googled the heck out of it with no success. Thanks so much.
