These will probably be, but not limited to, the hand laid-up, long keel boats of the 50s, 60s and 70s with names like Alberg, Spencer, Bristol, Pearson, Columbia, Yankee, Cape Dory, Chris Craft, Grebe, Hinckley, Cal, Morgan, Tartan, Allied, Challenger, Rawson, Albin, Kaiser, Kettenburg, Cheoy Lee and designer names like John Alden, Carl Alberg, Halsey Herreshoff, Drake Sparkman and Olin and Rod Stephens, William Lapworth, William Luders, Philip Rhodes, Bill Tripp, Charley Morgan, Thomas Gillmer, Ted Brewer, Ted Hood, Wilbur Shaw, to name only a few!

A group for former, current, or future Corbin 39 owners and enthusiasts.

In 1977, Marius Corbin commissioned Robert Dufour of Montreal, Quebec to design him a sailboat based on a one-off 39-foot Dufour design named Harmonie. Mr. Corbin asked Mr. Dufour to increase the freeboard and flush the deck. In 1979, the first Corbin 39 came out of the resulting mold, and the Canadian manufacturer produced 129 Corbins until 1982. Most were sold as kits in varying degrees of completion. In 1982, a fire destroyed the deck molds, but because of continued strong demand, they decided to update the molds and continue production. The last Corbin 39 produced, hull number 199, was launched in 1990.

The Corbin 39 is a double ender in the classic Scandinavian lineage of serious offshore cruisers like the Westsail 32. She features a long fin keel of 6′ draft, high freeboard, and a blunt bow. Corbin produced various deck molds including flush, pilot, center cockpit, and aft cockpit variations.

Ok this group might not be for everyone, but I think there are enough people in the boating community that do sail naked. To warrent this group.

Wheather its women and men being topless or totally nude. There are those of us that enjoy the freedom of sailing in our birthday suits and sun bathing naked.

I am sure I am not the only one with a " Willy T" T-shirt.

So Here is a new group. A lifestyle of sailors and cruisers, or for anyone that just loves to enjoy life and let loose.

If you do choose to post pictures please keep it clean.
