I am new to this forum and my apologies in advance if this has been covered 101 times before but I was after some helpful advice on sailing with a dog with customs checks etc. in various countries. We are still on the hunt for our catamaran but just trying to get some homework done now
I think this question has actually been discussed 102 times or now 103 counting this one.
Problem is it varies with every country but most do seem to have restrictions and quarantine. I have heard about getting pet passports that show they have been vaccinated and certified disease free by a vet. May work with some countries.
Think you need to check country by country exactly where you plan to visit.

At this stage we would like to sail up the Queensland coast through the Whitsunday Islands then up to Indonesia & Malaysia. Then see where the wind blows us from there.
