Non-Sailor Looking For Advice!!

Hey,

UPDATE: I've been pretty successful on losing some of that weight I need to lose... and I keep getting lighter. So I'm not starting to look for sailing school openings and maybe some "crew" opportunities.

So if anyone out there has read this and maybe thought, "I'd be willing to let this crazy vet come on a passage with us" then let me know. I know that I have almost nothing to offer, no special skills or experience. But I'm willing/eager to learn. Send me a message.

Jax. I think it's a great idea ... Until I seen how many little ones you have. There's a really big pirate ship for sale. Not sure where you'll have to goggle it., However it has sails and would be large enough to accommodate your large family.

I want to echo Tom1980’s advice that this might be the time to get into dinghy sailing. I did not notice where you are but is that an option? Anything you can put on a trailer and easily launch anywhere.

You will miss that ability if you get a big boat.

Also please read the barbell prescription and look up McGill back exercises.
