Cool lab on board

hello everyone, I'm new to the site... I'm super excited about starting life on a cat in the next few months! I have a 12 year old lab that pretty much grew up on boats so I'm not overly worried about her adapting. My question is regarding the rules of going ashore when cruising the caribbean. Clearly, I'll have to get paperwork/bloodwork to get her to the first destination by air. I'm just wondering how all the dog owners get from one island to the next... do you require new import permits every time you move around? Even if you're only there for a few days?
Thank you for your help! She'll be joining us in December

You might want to revisit that title, I jumped onto it thinking I was about to read about someone doing a maritime version of Breaking Bad.

What a cute buddy to have on board. You might want to check

Countries —

Click on the country you will be visiting and then on the left, scroll down to pets (in the formalities section); click on that and it will tell you what you need to know.

Re: lab on board

Thank you Astrid... I was wondering if pet owners who are travelling from island to island within a short time require new import permits or if there's a way around that

Re: lab on board

I think you may not be able to take the dog at all to some British isles...?
