Cat Litter / Exumas

Is there any place to buy cat food and litter in the exumas?

We couldn’t find any last time we were there, but others have said that the Exuma Market had regular litter at one time (not clumping). We tried beach sand when we got desperate, but that turned out to be a VERY BAD IDEA. The sand was too fine and got everywhere, plus the little creatures in it whipped up quite a smell (wash the sand completely first if you try that). Shredded newspaper is always a good backup - if the cats don’t mind. Good luck!
