Amazon delivery?
Wasn't sure where to put this. As with a lot of people,I'm an avid Amazon shopper.
With that being said,we're live-ons here at a marina-complete with a mailing address!
Question is-will Amazon deliver here? It's a bit out of the way...
TIA!

Re: Amazon delivery?
In Long Beach Alamitos Bay Marina ups will deliver to your slip. I think Amazon will too. You can call Amazon customer service and ask.

Re: Amazon delivery?
Yes! You list your location as "Long Beach, CA" There are no marinas on that stretch of coast so remote a delivery can't be had. Anyplace that USPS or UPS goes, Amazon will deliver.
If you really want to be 100% sure, why not just ask the marina?
I've been receiving Amazon, and ebay, and etc packages at marinas for well on 20 years...

Re: Amazon delivery?
Amazon does our marina deliveries via USPS, UPS, and FedEx. We have had all there. When traveling between NC and south FL, we have received at many marinas (we call the marina and ask and have never been denied or charged) and when anchored we have received at a UPS store ($10 fee) and at several Amazon Lockers (free).

Re: Amazon delivery?
Amazon delivers to our marina in Port Orchard, WA. UPS, USPS and FEDex. Make sure if they deliver to the office you put in the hours of the office. Ours are limited hours, so deliveries were a problem until we did the hours.. now they deliver without problems.
You can put hours in when you make an order.. it will be there for all your next orders.

.de typical shipping costs €5-8. Amazon.de supports all non local Amazon European countries and has an English website

Re: Amazon delivery?
We are full time live aboard. Almost all our purchases are off Amazon and we get them delivered to the next marina on our route. (East coast USA)
We haven't met a marina that wouldn't let us, or that couldn't receive packages

Re: Amazon delivery?
Amazon and Ali-Express started to offer self-pickup at pick-up points. This is a wonderful service for cruisers.

I’ve struggled more with AliExpress in Greece as they use the post office and they seem to “ give up “ earlier then the couriers

Re: Amazon delivery?
It can be unnerving if you ordered something on Amazon but haven't received it yet. Have you spent your hard-earned money on something online, and the last thing you would like is not to get what you bought? If you're concerned about the status of your order, you can always see what's going on with the shipment by logging into your Amazon account and selecting Returns and Orders from the menu. Each order shows the status. If it has already been delivered, it will show the item's delivery date. Under the delivery date, you will also see a note about where exactly the goods were delivered. My last order was a bathroom scale, so I was looking at the order's status throughout the week, and it came to me as it should.

With amazons policy you’re money is safe , you will get a full refund of the order is very late or never shows up.
