Repairing injectors is near impossible unless you are prepared to weld/braze over the injector and then drill the correct size, I've tried it before it is a waste of time, just replace them.

Are all of the jets the same size on a 3 burner stove top? Can they be interchanged?

I think so. They all come out with a 7mm socket. I assume you're taking about a Force 10.

Yes the orifices look like they're identical.

By cleaning the nozzles out with a wire you may have oversized the orifice of the nozzle so you have too much fuel for the previously set air ratio. You can regain the proper blue flame by increasing the amount of air going into the mixture. However the max heating will be higher and the low end will have a tendency to shut off. Best bet is to install new nozzles.

Just a follow up. Apparently they are not the same size, a quote from Force 10: "The orifices are not the same size. They can be purchased direct from us, they are $10.00 each plus shipping. We will require the model and serial number for your stove to identify the correct parts"

Unfortunatly they are not all the same size, the thread sizes may be the same but not the orifice size. Some injectors have the size stamped into them, often in mm.

I think my 3 burner Force 10 has I x 16000 btu and 2 x 6 0r 7000 btu burners, and the jets are different sizes.

You buggered it John!

Too much fuel results in black soot and yellow flame, needs more air but on the F10 that is not adjustable. Get new jets, the difference is amazing!.

My flame gets yellow when the tank gets on the low side.. also regulators seems to go bad often or not at all. Seems some are really good and some not so..
