Provisioning and potable water in Gulf Islands?

First foray into BC, Gulf Islands and Vancouver island (south of Nanaimo).

Any advice on where to provision and fill our water tanks?

The Gulf Islands marinas guard their water very carefully, unless you have moorage do not depend on getting any specially in August when many run dry,
Marinas on Vanc Island may not give water without some other purchase, so be advised to treat sparely. The mainland is a bit better.

Waters not a problem this year……grocery store are available in most of the Vancouver Island towns, and at farmers markets most Saturdays all over…….it’s not much different than The San Juan Islands.

Yeah. If you enter tsheum harbour and keep to the left youll pass van isl marina fuel and customs dock then turn to port. Youll see a biiig goverment dock with commercial boats. We always fill in the space designated for fish sales. Always seems to be empty. Pop in after passing the raft fulla fishing junk to starboard. But as a rule everyones directions are shitty even mine. Just poke around. The wafinger is a lizzard just ignore her. its water
