I can think of a lot better places to go for beer advice or any advice for that matter.

Yeah, that's why they brew beer and serve pork at the Whitehouse.

I think Atoll was making a bit of a joke. In any case, the presence of Kent Goldings (English) hops in the recipe proves he is not a muslim but a European Socialist!

Sounds like a good recipe to me, a once and future homebrewer.

Hey - another home brewer! Could it be that we home brewers are all just part of big scary socialist plot to bring good beer to the masses?

The oppressed workers, who slave away under horrible conditions for me, really like my home brew. Well, except for the one guy who does not drink -- he must be a communist -- or maybe a Mormon.

Re: Prezs Homebrew

George Washington was a home brewer @ Mt. Vernon, and I guess I presumed from this that he established this craft at the White House, but according to the news articles I've read this is the first White House brew and this recipe came from a local brew shop. NTTAWWT

No not on the boat, I brew at home in the off-season. I've done little things aboard like ginger "beer", but nothing serious.

I would need a small ship for brewing: where would I put the keezers, kegs, brew kettles, commercial stove....

10 gallons of mead perking away ashore now, and just got in ingredients for 10 gallons of brew.

Jefferson too as I recall, and a few brewers have re-created their recipes.
