One More Freezing / Bugs Question

In Turkey everyone uses bay leaves - just add a bay leaf or 2 or 3 to a container/bag. It won't kill existing bugs, but you won't get newly hatched ones. They even use them in commecially packed items. Brilliant to keep with open flour, rice, cookies, etc.
