I haven't had the best of luck with some things from Tesco. Products from Saintsbury (sp?) tended to treat me better.

As for bugs in the flour & rice for that matter, I found that if I put it in a zip lock bag & stick it in the freezer for about a month, then the bugs don't show up anymore, even when it's kept on the shelf after that.
