I want to move 44' power boat WA to CA

I want to move my 44' trawler from WA State down to San Diego May 1st, 2017. Does that sound like a good time to bring her down the coast?

I helped deliver a 35' sailing trimaran mid May several years ago.
FWIW, the owner had subscribed to a professional weather service, and I'm really glad he did.
After two days of beating to weather to grab a NW wind system, we JUST managed to stay in the tail end of it for the duration of the trip to Newport Beach.
The whole 1250 mile trip from Whidbey Island took 7 days.
