I've always been curious about solar stoves . . . and I've been pretty curious about evacuated solar thermal tubes for heating my house, too. Here's a stove that combines the two concepts:

Might be interesting to give it a try on a cruising sailboat.

There are YouTube videos on how to make your own vacuum bottle cooker mostly for boiling water. if you have room I would think a box oven would be much better
