No doubt about that. No edible plant matter of any kind is permitted through customs.
Edited to add: commercially preserved unopened items are generally fine.

We smiled hearing an exchange at the
airport is Tasmania once. There were sniffer
dogs and as the dog came up one passenger commented "No drugs here". The handler smiled and said "He is searching for apples". We are super vigilant
