Divine Nectar

Three years ago my life took a significant step toward total fulfillment when I was introduced to CRABBIES original alcoholic ginger beer.

This fine afternoon, having spent 6 hours sanding a boat bottom, I have retired to the cockpit where I am engaged in a comparative test between Origional and Spiced Orange varietals.

It is warm, I have shade, the solar panels are charging and the fridge is making ice.

Summer bliss.

Re: Divine Nectar

Well your post certainly evoked some wonderful memories. Crabbies Green Ginger Wine (it is a wine not a ginger beer) how wonderful. Unfortunately we cannot find it here in Australia but there is a similar tipple called Stones green ginger wine but the colour is a golden brown, not that wonderful green of Crabbies.
Enjoy a glass for me.

As some other wag noted recently, don't forget, while you're enjoying yourself, somewhere, something on the boat is breaking.

A good friend once said,

"A yacht is not a yacht unless there are at least three things wrong with it."

No kidding...

Re: Divine Nectar

AS an ex-pat Brit ( no longer drinking alcohol after a stroke) I used to love a Whisky Mac, Scotch with Crabbies Green Ginger WINE and very little ,if any, ice.
