Mussels on the BBQ are done in New Zealand, because of the larger "green lipped" variety that are available.

When in Europe Moules à la crème are another favourite variation that I like.

My family heritage is from Belgium too - Ostende

Yeah, when I saw the size of them in the video, I thought to myself, they are not mussels, they are barnacles.

We never did the mussels on the bbq but certainly something I want to try! Must be great in summer when cooking outside is a bit more comfortable than now. Any specific recipe for that?





PS: drinking champagne in a plastic glass is certainly a high crime ^^^
