Can’t change Eno oven temperature

I have an Eno Gascogne oven on my Dufour 365. I believe the temperature control is malfunctioning - I can turn the oven on and ignite it, but I don’t seem to be able to adjust the flame height. Before I dismantle it does anyone have any suggestions on the likely dodgy part, it’s location or any other fix? Thanks in advance for your help

Re: Can’t change Eno oven temperature

Before you get too involved you may want to simply put an oven thermometer in it and see if it is performing as is should. The flame height is usually set to 'high' until the set temperature is reached, then the thermostat will lower the flame. This assumes, of course, that the thermostat is working. Marine and RV oven temps are notoriously hard to regulate.

Re: Can’t change Eno oven temperature

Thanks mikereed. I do have a thermometer in there. It slowly preheats up to 180-200C but often drops once food is put in. Would prefer if it got hotter. Flame height just can’t be varied, and I thought it once did????

Re: Can’t change Eno oven temperature

Hi, I was speaking with the distributor of ENO stoves in Australia yesterday. The major difference between ENO and Force10 LPG (propane) stoves is the ENO gas ovens do NOT have a thermostat control. Basically using an ENO oven is the same as using a hooded BBQ as an oven. Maybe this helps...
