I have made fresh bread in a steamer on board cos got two rings no oven. wife said it would turn to mush but it was perrfect? but not browned on the top! would say that you need to be in calm waters for the steamer. recipe is as for ordinary bread just steamed in a basin in a pan instead of oven.
