The next factoid is potatoes.
I'm not usually an Organic eater, but my daughter mentioned that potatoes are pretty much the worst vegetable for holding chemicals. They are tubers and just soak it up. Having lived in the middle of a potato field for 10 years, I can verify that now days farmers spray their potatoes with Round Up to kill the bush. Then the potatoes sit in the ground before harvest. They used to actually cut the bush off with equipment.
Two identical russets , one organic, one not, will cook in a microwave much different. The organic will take much longer to cook. Here again, there is SOME difference in the two types.
