Alcohol Stove Safety

I have progressed to a larger boat with a propane stove and oven, but my last boat "Dancing Star" had an Orego stove. For fire suppresion (it never was needed), I used a wallpaper sprayer that I purchased for ten bucks new. You can pressurize it so that you can use it as a fire extinguisher for (alcohol only). Had used it as a mister while camping and one day the light went on. (Still use it for a mister.) Fair Winds, Blue Skies. lorenzo
