12-Volt 300 Degree Lunchbox Stove

Came upon this on the InterWeb.
RoadPro 12 Volt Portable Stove
On a Trucker's Forum, one Trucker said it worked great and gave the link.
Has anyone ever used anything like this and if so, does it work well?

Regards,
Extemp.

I have one. It works great but a bit of an energy hog - 10 12 Amps when running. I've cook a pork loin, heated soup, baked potatos, etc.

Spoken like a real engineer. But then there's probably been too many times when you were the one being cooked in that engine room.

Used to have one of those in my early days of long-haul and it did work great! Did burn a few things if I failed to wake up at times though ... Eventually got into a larger truck, installed an inverter and a microwave which worked a lot faster!!! Not idea on the consumption of either, but never blew anything and usually would have my home pc running at the same time.
