All three spent about the same amount on time rockbound, so the handicap should have evened out .

Just makes me hurt every time I see one of those boats ground and rock forward, but the one in the first few seconds with ramming the bow right into the rock.
Can't say I've never been there, but in a single race, damn.

Steady on old chap; I have owned a NZ carvel built 28Ft Giles Wanderer that I would have been happy(??) to pitch against those boats. OK it wasn't as fast, not even close but it was solid - don't ask how I know.

It is still sailing around I believe and is now 60+ years old!
