Who would try to steal a bright red, 50-ft. sailboat from a mooring in St. Augustine?

...and then crash it into the Bridge of Lions? I'm guessing, not the brightest bulb: Sailboat stolen from St. Augustine Marina? | Florida East Coast | Waterwayguide.com News Updates

Re: Who would try to steal a bright red, 50-ft. sailboat from a mooring in St. August

We had cruisers happy hour with the owners last night and - at least at first glance - the boat doesn't appear have had too much damage. The boat is in a marina and a rigger is going up to check things out.

It could have been much much worse!

Makes we feel like we need to lock our dinghy to our davits. Its already been stolen once this year (not in StA).
