Saw that this morning, quite impressive to watch. Does make me wonder how often they're in those conditions, versus calmer or worse (eek!).

Some times, the change could not be done: the previous team of keepers had to stay for a few weeks more, while the storm lasted.

This video was made a few years ago at a French lighthouse. I believe it is "La Jument" near Ushant (you see the shore in the background). Now, French lighthouses are all fully automated. People come only once or twice a year, for maintenance.

Yes, 'moderate' seas.

This is impressive (with no shift change). Still calm enough to be flying about in it.



PS. Why I'm not interested in 'just' a Coastal Cruiser . . . . *laughs* Dodgy game that Coastal Cruising.
