Series Drogue

Attaching the cones to the yacht braid went very quickly. I did not feel it was a big deal

Sail cloth worked fine for my series drogue. The sail cloth cones are not going to collapse or be blown out under load.

Nicely written as always Dave. I was surprised to see you had a series drogue after ready about your abbot drogue.

Either way, you are able to slow down in the big stuff. And that is a good thing.

Sailrite sews them for about $1.00 per cone.

Thanks! However, I am not planning on buying the kit from Sailrite - if I recycle my old mainsail and purchase the straps from a discounter (we have several in the area) - I think I can build one of these drogues at a very low cost. (I am proficient w/ the sewing machine - thankfully! ) I do have a Sailrite Ultrafeed-LSZ and this should be a very simple project... famous last words!
