I was just wondering if
rescue services are using
AIS positions via
satellite tracking to determine the last known location of the vessel ?
I know it was not so sophisticated just a few years ago, but now even marinetraffic is offering to track your vessels
AIS anywhere on the planet using satellites (managed by
google?)
14 eur per month. Sounds like a bargain to me, considering you don't have to add any additional tracking solutions to your
boat like SPOT, etc?
