Sailboat capsize at Redondo Beach Pier

they were well into the surfline. current and wind did them no favors. i hope he called for tow before they got into that wrong location.
i used to live in king harbor-sailed in and out, powered in motor yacht in and out many times--aint for wimps.
one source said rogue wave. didnt see one of those. just the usual 2 meters or so swells--windy day. boat without control. is too bad. may no thavebeen preventable--may have been. only the skipper knows that one.
is a good thing the water is not deep there.
