While I'm not a subscriber to Practical Sailor, I do not know of any other publisher which attempts to conduct product comparisons in a transparent manner with objective measures. They explain their methodology so anyone can conduct the same tests to see if their results are bogus or biased.

So, unless someone *does* repeat their experiments with different results, I tend to be far more dismissive of the criticism than PS.
