Okeechobee advice

I have a 33' Sea Ray and I'm wondering about crossing Lake Okeechobee in forecasted 15-25 MPH winds. Any advice? Should I plan to take the rim route? Postpone?

Some of the shallow spots may be a problem with the waves at that wind speed.

If the winds are from the south maybe the Rim route..but postpone on crossing.
