I have just read a book "Around the World Cruising Guide" by Alan Phillips.

This has to be one of the best books on the cruising life that I have ever read.
Alan is an Australian and he tells it as it is, no ********. It is the only book that I have read on cruising that gives you some idea of what it is really like, or should be like.
No political correctness, no whitewashing, just reality.
