Mister Vee windvane Pilot

Hey folks

I have a West Wight Potter 19. I experience a lot of weather helm, especially down wind when the wind is up.

I am thinking of getting the Mister Vee windvane Pilot. The Mr. Vee website has a brochure where they say "If you have trouble to steer the boat yourself, so will the system. Take care to properly trim the sails and reduce sail area in time if the wind picks up."

So maybe I need to work on my sail trimming . I have read from others that they have issues with weather helm on their potters.

If there are any of you who have a Mr. Vee or other Windvane steering system on a really small boat like the potter, or one with a center board, let me know how well it does in a good blow.

Thanks in advance
