Looking for boat handling help in Ft. Lauderdale

Jimbo here with a nice new/old Bristol 32. Thanks much for your time and trouble in helping me get some help in getting up to speed in basic maneuvering. I'm a retired RN, used to sail 30 years ago in a much smaller Columbia 26, spade riudder, outboard, easy peasy.

But the Bristol 32 is a modified full keel, keel hung rudder, Yanmar diesel, fixed prop, inboard, about 10,000 pounds. I need help in basic maneuvering and docking and would love to find an experienced sailor who could help me for a few shekels, a few after sail mojitos, on or both, lol. Boat docked in the isles off of Las Olas in a nice slip, no bridges to intracoastal, only one (Las Olas) to Port Everglades inlet.

Please send me a private messege, love to hear from you.

Re: Looking for boat handling help in Ft. Lauderdale

Let's try again...

Would love to get together with an experienced sailor to help me get up to speed with basic boat handling/docking of my new/old Bristol 32 (mod full keel, keel hung rudder, Yanmar). For those who missed the reference to shekels, lol, that means I'll be happy to pay you for your time.

Docked in the isles off Las Olas at an angled slip in a no current canal, easy access to a nice practice basin, no bridges.

Thanks...a private email is great, leave your phone if you wish, I'll call...
