Life Lost in Capsize

The main appears to be well stowed. The jib is out but might just be a broken reefing line. Perhaps they were motoring along the coast, engine died, tried anchoring with a lee shore, boat rolled in the surf. Would explain the rode on the prop that looks only tangled around it instead of wrapped like you’d see if the shaft had been turning. Who knows.

Lots of different scenarios but the survivor will clarify what happened.
