Is anybody here using 1/4" G70 Acco on a windlass?

I had a short length of G70 Acco that I had to discard as it corroded super-quickly. It was near wet bronze, which sucks the life from it, but it's life span was measured in weeks.

Good to know. I guess I should forget it and go with G40HT
