FT Lauderdale Sail Cat owners

Would there be anyone interested in taking a family of 3 out for the day??? I am interested in seeing if purchasing a sail cat is something that I would like to do. I am looking a renting for a week next year, but no reason to do that if I cant handle a day.

Anyway, If there is interest, We will be in Ft Lauderdale for the week beginning the 29th of July.

Thanks

P.S. I have been in Motorboats my whole life. Yes, sailing is new to me...

Re: FT Lauderdale Sail Cat owners

Most boat owners have no interest in taking strangers out for a day.
There is work involved removing covers checking water, fuel, oil, weather and taking a day off from work.
I would do it for $500, maybe. Maybe not.
Check with a catamaran charter company, I am sure they do crewed day-sails.

Re: FT Lauderdale Sail Cat owners

I can understand that feeling if folks are uncomfortable. I am not pressuring anyone. Just throwing a question out there. I also didn't think it would be free.

If your interested let me know. If not all good. Appreciate the response.

Also remember though the stranger thing isn't one sided. I am introducing my family to some stranger on a boat.

The crewed day sails are worthless for the info I'm looking for. Been on plenty of Catamarans that were booze cruises, snorkeling stuff,,,
