No worries. I am new to boating, but so far my experience suggests that a prospective skipper would be wise to keep unnecessary contact with other boaters to a minimum.

It all depends on you. I know people who will never learn to safely dock their 30' with three people helping and others who routinely dock 65' single trawlers singlehanded in the tightest spots with casual ease.
